I am always curious by what is not reported following major news stories like the barbarism in Woolwich as much as by what is reported. I am intrigued to understand how the perpetrators (I suppose I should say the alleged perpetrators although Lord knows why) of this atrocity funded their lifestyle. They clearly seem to have been active in radical Islamic politics for some time and to have been in and out of the UK almost at will. How did they fund their activities or, more precisely, who funded them?
Did they have jobs? I will be blogging shortly about Finding Fanaticism and the workplace is somewhere where we are all going to have to be more vigilant.
Where did they live? Who paid the rent? Who paid the council tax?
Were they on benefits? If so for how long and why?
What academic qualifications did they have and from where?
If press reports are accurate, these individuals seem to have been active in promoting fundamentalism in the UK and in Kenya. A lot of UK citizens are finding it hard to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table and have little time for campaigning even if they had the inclination.
How did they fund their fanatical and, eventually, murderous lifestyle?
