266? Isn’t that exactly the same amount of votes you got Keith
Not bad for a guy who didn’t know how ‘to stand for election ‘
… but not good enough, Mr Corcoran. There are no second prizes in politics.
Mr Mitchell – I respectfully congratulated Victoria Head at the election poll station I have nothing further to add, why you continue to rub salt is beyond belief as a Grand Inspector of Freemasons you are clearly showing a lack of self control may I ask you to put this to bed.
I would also thank you for removing my photograph but I’m more concerned with the photograph on your Twitter account which has not been removed as discussed in my private email there will be ramifications on your part if it isn’t removed by the weekend
Regards Iain Corcoran
‘Fraid I did not know I had a Twitter account let alone a picture of you on it! I will see what I can track down for you. Something you have to learn in public life is to take publicity, welcome or unwelcome, on the chin and to develop a thick skin.
They might both have had the same amount of votes. But Keith had 50.4% of the votes when he was elected compared to Iain’s 44.7% of the vote when he was not.
Thanks. As you point out, there are no silver medals in politics!
As for Medals Titles etc does it make you more important or popular No! It doesn’t where as I lost a seat / battle the War continues for Traffic Calming Measures & I for one although beaten at the first firefight will reorg and continue to fight for those 266 residents who believed in me….
So as they say it’s not over until the fat lady sings, So I look forward to future debates, arguments, battles with APC
Who gives a flying f#$k! It’s over with so why you harping on about….I see you haven’t put your name shallow keyboard warrior you don’t have the balls to say it to my face….
In the past, Mr Mitchell has loudly and aggressively criticised other websites and parishioners for commenting anonymously but seems quite happy to allow anonymity on his own site. Have you changed your opinion on the matter Mr Mitchell or this just hypocrisy on your part?
No need for bad language however disguised. Perhaps your continuance in public life will teach you to lose graciously.
You are not giving up ex-parish councillor Bradley, are you? The anon comment came from a local resident who identified himself to me, gave me freedom to publish but asked for anonymity which I have respected. There are some very nasty people around who can make decent people’s lives miserable.
The only thing I gave up was being part of the failed and dysfunctional APC – remember the Hoey Ainscough report?
As uncomfortable as it is for you, parishioners have a democratic right to hold you to account – but just ask nicely and I will stop posting on your blog,or you can delete my posts when you can’t think of a snappy comeback, as you have in the past.
Other websites in the village that you so loudly criticised for anonymous comment also respected the anonymity of commentators, but it didn’t stop you whining about it…why is your site different?
Why do you feel the need to attack people rather than their arguments – CDC censured you for this in the past and yet still you continue to do it. Perhaps if you lead by example there would be less need for anonymity.
As I said, there are some nasty people out there. Also lawyers who can terrorise people without legal training with legal threats and terminology.
Keith Mitchell I’ve never met anyone in my life who thinks more of himself than you do self importance it’s beyond belief!
Your arrogance and rudeness astounds me, and to think I served Queen & Country to fight in wars to protect oxygen thiefs like you!
I did lose graciously I’ve moved on getting with my life.
I look forward to seeing you on the 26th February make sure your prepared for question time & speak up I can’t hear you the best of times….
